So I'm finally about half way done fitting my AVIC-D1 into my car. I know it's kinda rough and the hole for the ac controls isn't cut out yet but I figured I see what you guys have to say about it.

thanks for the comments. Will hopefully begin painting it tomorrow. If all works out the tweeter pods are next followed by an Alpine CDA-9855 mounted down where the cig plugs are. God I love my car!

how much did that cost u for the screen and to get it put in and everything or how much would it cost.

Lazarchick to answer your question the screen retails for 1616 install would be 150 give or take. Being an employee for the big blue hellhole we get a little more than half off that. Though technically the thing doesn't fit in our cars hence the fiberglassing.

what kinda screen is that looks like tha one the put in the 03 Jaguars X type car.... where did u pur ur deck? shit looks nice maybe i should work at best buy damn thats clean...

its a double din touchscreen cd, navi, dvd rom player.. have a ps2 hooked up to play movies and all... its pretty sweet.

Well Got some more work done. Cut out the hole for the ac controls. Ran a coat of black primer over it to find the rest of the low spots. Modified the A/C controls to get them to mount flush with the dash bezel. I have to thank mrjaydeeone for that one. With any luck should be ready for paint on thursday. Here's the new pic.
