Moving steering wheel closer?

Would it be possible to move the steering wheel a little closer to the driver? I'm wondering if extra washers could be put in to move it back a bit. Does anyone have pics of their car with the steering wheel removed? How does it attach?

did you try using the lever underneath to lower and rise the steering wheel? that help any?

why not just move the seat closer to the wheel.... ALOT easier

No, then my legs are cramped. I just got the seat track modified to give me enough leg room.

so you have really long legs and midget arms? i'm 6'4" and sit pretty comfortably wit hteh seat all the way back and the wheel all the way down... of course i have the aftermarket small wheel with the momo hub adapter that sticks out a little farther
