I got a lil problem....i need to find a good chrome paint (rattlecan) that will actully look chrome (like on the cap). I have tried a couple and they all turn out to be a dull silver (not shiny at all), even when the surface is perfectly smooth. Anybody got any suggestions.

http://alsacorp.com/chrome.htm ('http://alsacorp.com/chrome.htm') best place to buy real chrome paints. You will not find anything else. They sell small kits for like 80.00 and its nice.

yea, its for headlights. I got some aftermarket BMW halo headlights for an upcoming project, the projector shrouds are black and i want to make em chrome. Im also thinking about making some home-made shrouds but i cant find good chrome paint for em. Ive tried clear coating and it doesnt really help much. I think spraying it into a bowl and dipping it is out of the question cause it would take like 2 rattlecans to fill it up....unless i can find some bulk (non spray) chrome paint.
