View Full Version : Off alignment, weird explanation from technician

I had the alignment checked out on my 8G along with an oil change.
The guy said it needed alignment, but the cause was some bent parts. I said "that sounds serious", and he replied, that I should be okay as long as I do my tire rotations on time....

That's all he said.

I don't know if this makes any sense?? :roll:

if you have significantly bent suspension components, then no amount of "factory allowed" alignment correction will put you back to spec.

sounds like this guy may not know what he is talking about.

ask him to show you what part/parts are bent.
then ask him how this is effecting your alignment.

Yeah, I would have had this guy show me the stuff, the problem was I did not pick up my car.....but I think I will have it looked at again

Right, i am also very skeptical about that answer from the tech....
