Nice, that's what I'm thinking about doing as well. Did you break the tabs to remove the insert from the door or did you just stuff the suede into the edges?

After I installed my Katzkin leather seats, I never did the leather on the door panels. Mostly because I like the soft feel of the cloth inserts, but also because I'm lazy. So, I've been thinking about doing black suede for a while.

Ok got both rear doors completely finished and Installed.
Danger DANJ: Yeah I actually used a solder iron and kinda melted the clips in and poped them out the afterwards used a screw and a washer to put it back on. Here are some new pics with the fabric piece detached...sorry pics are kinda blurry took them quickly.

Dude, your interior is nice...many props. but i think you should paint your dash Black to go against the yellow. Because i'm not liking the gray and yellow too much.

yeah everything else in the car that is grey is going to be black...i have black vinyl for the dash and the arm rest in the center, i have the suede for the cloth on the doors and all the plastic will be painted. I heard someone saying awhile back that they wanted to put an eclipse wheel in there car. Do they come in black and did it work out?? If so im gonna look into that for my steering wheel since that will be tuff to get black...thanx for the props

skillz - are you using the comfort suede, or the real stuff? I've been using the black/onyx comfort suede in my car, what is your price for a yd of it? Thanks

SinSere
12-10-2005, 12:34 PM
More expensive than the Sparco's? Just curious what the range is for a set of those. Want to get them for the Eclipse since the G already has the Katzkins.

i redid mine an i just ripped off the old material and sanded the foam off and tucked it with a butter knife and held it open with a screwdriver and tucked it all the way around i used black velour instead they have it a walmart for like 5 a yard you can usually get any material from a local upholstery shop
