I know how to make the corners clear on an 8G, I've done it before for a 2000. The only thing is I just bought a 2003 Galant and it has the black headlight housing. I heard that if you take out the orange lense then that part will be just clear, and it won't match the headlight. I think that if I use headlight paint to make that spot a little darker it will work fine, I just want some reassurance. If anyone has done this and can give me some tips on how to do it I will really appreciate it. Thanks

i just cleared the corner of my 2003G and now the corners doesnt match the rest of the headlight. what i have now is black headlights and bright chrome corners. im thinking of opening the housing and painting the corners black but leaving a lil chrome so it reflects the black, like the headlight.

what i need to know is a good paint to apply. also, will putting masking tape on the chrome peel off some chrome when removing the masking tape?

has anyone painted their corners on a 2003G or would i be the first. i havent found any posts on tgc about painted 2003 corners
