View Full Version : Injen Short Ram Problem

Well, seems like I got a problem with my Injen IS. The bracket that holds up the intake tube thats connected to the engine block, cracked https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif I've had this intake for close to 2 years if not more, so I don't think it's still under warranty. What are your suggestions? Weld it? Get a new intake? Has this happened to any of you before? Thanks for your feedback.

Call injen they are aware that happens sometimes, you might get lucky

ive seen brackets at autozone. try checkn out a couple auto places and im not sure if it will work for usd but a friend used his stock bracket

Injen Technology offers a Limited Lifetime Warranty to the original purchaser against defects in material and workmanship on all intake systems excluding the filter element. Injen Technology will replace at no charge, any intake pipe considered by Injen Technology to be defective. The warranty is void if the warranty card is not returned to Injen Technology within the first 30 days of purchase. Any and all warranty coverage is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective part only, at Injen Technology’s discretion. Proof of purchase is required. The warranty does not cover incidental or consequential damages, nor does it cover the cost of installation or removal of the defective part or its replacement.

It happened to me and I sent injen an email with a picture of the damage and the original receipt I got from Ptuning.com and they sent me a replacement.
