I'm assuming it's a 6" rim, so i figure a 215/50 would be a good size to run on it...?

Any feedback is appreciated...

225/50 will make your speedo a lil bit more accurate and is a lil wider than 215/50

and o yea its a 16x6 wheel so you were right

I think it's best to look up the tire size at the manufacturer's website. Everyone has different recommendations b/c of the different materials and constructions that determines what is safe and what's not.

Since we know what the stock size wheel is, as Pinoy has stated, 16x6, I would not go over 215's. Even that's pushing it already for a 6" wide wheel. Any wider and you are forcing the two sides to come together to fit your wheel. And if you look at this logically, the lower the profile your tire, you would even push that flexing of the sidewall to even more extremes to get the wheel beads to come together at 6". The taller the profile would seem a little easier to get away with but you would mess up your speedometer as stated above.

205 is stock, 215 is okay but may be pushing it with certain makes and models, beyond 215 is not recommended.
