I dont know if anyone has notice, but Europeon galants have shorter front and rear bumper. It seems that the US gets cars that are dumbed down in style compared to the rest of the world. I mean just check www.ford.co.uk, www.ford.com.au and www.fpv.com.au, but anyways Does anyone know where I buy the bumpers from? I think they make the car looks more aggressive and I like the fog lights.

I can definitely see a mix of cars in that one. I think that's the only Ford I've ever thought looked awesome.
It looks similar to a WRX, with RSX headlights. The foglight area resembles the 8g 02 bumper. Bodylines sort of resemble a Volvo with a mix of the newer GTO.

most of the links to the Furd websites are austrialin websites. And the 04-05 GTO is an imported Holden Monaro. Part of the reason why the GTO doesnt sell well, the purist and loyalist are crying because its made by the aussie's the price tag is so high cause they have to import it and its a low volume car agian cause they have to import it.

ford :pukey:

Just imagine how much Ford would sell if the could come up with some designs like those to sell here in America rather than just move the designs from one country to another.

This has probably been asked before but......the world spec rear bumpers (the shorter ones) have to be modified to fit the US spec 8G right? What about the front bumper?

i have a jdm/world spec front bumper and to make it fit i had to cut and trim the crash bar. it was really easy

Fitting a JDM OEM front bumper will involve modifying your existing crash bar, getting the JDM crash bar, or fabricating a new one. To fit my front JDM bumper, I had a crash bar custom made.

For a rear JDM OEM bumper, the only thing you have to do is remove the foam between the bumper cover and the crash bar. No modifications of the crash bar is needed.

the us is more stricter than many countries when it comes to crash tests and stuff. hence the oversized bumpers of the us.

its more about having a "5mph" crash bumper not needing replacing.

Yep because no foam in the world is going to help having a car crash above 25 mph

that foam doesnt do anything when your going faster then 5 mph, its only there so the bumper doesnt rattle at high speeds
