I'm not really feelin the tail lights either, but the "smoothed" trunk looks pretty good, and I think the license plate would look better if it was recessed into the bumper and even better if it were recessed to the far right or left. As for the painted CF hood, I think its a new approach to an old hood, especially since it's the most common aftermarket hood we can get for our cars, its a good way to make it a little more "original". But it would look better with a different grill. Perhaps a JDM grill or a CF wrapped one would add a bit more contrast.

i know you'd think they were crazy but they were just trying to mimic the usdm 8g tails since its so "rare"

i bet if you found the right person, you could do a striaght up swap of your usdm tails for some jdms

Now that I've been lookin at this for a while, moving the tag to the bumper, and recessing it in might be a pretty good idea. Anybody know where I can find a plastic or fiberglass tag box to use for that idea? I've only seen the metal ones that minitrucks use to recessed their tags into their roll pans and tailgates. I guess those could be use too, if push comes to shove. I guess making one from scratch, using wouldn't be too hard with fiberglass either.

Hey got any pix, I'd like to see how it looks in real life in stead of theory. I believe I saw a G at a past NOPI like that, and was kitted and primed out. Can't remember if the guy that owned it was from FLA or VA, but I know he chilled with us Dirty South boys under our pavillion for a while.

That looks awfully familiar. Are you the guy I was talking about that came to NOPI and met up with us DSImports/Georgia TGCers?

Yeah, I've met and talked to that guy with the eclipse tail and headlight conversion at the last 2 NOPI Nat'ls. He also has a nice rear seat set up, where he used 2 leather covered OEM seats. But if you do convert the rear lights to G35 taillights. Now thoses are the hotest taillights out there right now. I did see a conversion kit on ebay for a 240SX, but I guess it could be adapted to be used by us.
