Is it just me or does it feel like you have to pull the ebrake up through the roof for it to engauge? on my old galant it would engauge after like 3 clicks, on my maxima its 2 clicks? any tips on a fix?

You'll probably need to adjust the brake cable. I don't know how to do it but its come where in the manual.

do you have drums in the rear or rotors? for drums you will have to take the drum off and inside to the top there is cigar shaped piece with a gear attached to it. you will have to rotate this down towards the ground to get the e brake tighten. be careful not to turn it too many times or the drum will not fit back on. I believe this is the same for rotors. anyone else now for rotors?

if you're still under warranty, take it to the dealer. if not, like the others said, adjust the cable.
