Has anybody installed a hood lock in their 8g? I know this can help prevent thieves from stealing parts under the hood or disabling your battery/siren..etc. Hornet and Dei sell it but I'm wondering if there's one that is designed for our 8g latch...less drilling and such.

hey iceberg...check out kalamidad's post on this forum. He has the problem making his headlights flush. Notice in the pictures..he has a hood lock on his 8G. He should be able to help you out.

i think he's talking about the hood locks that are like the ones in this club si tutorial ('http://forums.clubsi.com/showflat.php?Cat=0&Board=UBB7&Number=5342769&Searchpage=1&Main=5337857&Words=%26quot%3Bhood+lock%26quot%3B&topic=&Search=true#Post5342769')

my suggestion of you don't want to do that, get a battery backup for your alarm and throw some sirens inside your fenders and some inside the dash.

yep, I got those already. I'm thinking more about protecting parts like HIDs, grill, Intake, turbo.. etc

will update some pics when I redo my exterior. I have 20% mirror tints that looks greenish with our factory windows but I'm planning to switch to 3M Black Chrome tints sometime this year https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif

Its just a certain type of tint film. Local tinting shops should have those.
