Euro Tail lights

I hope Im not sounding like a dummy. I just bought some eurolights for my 02 Galant. I have had them for about 2 months. When I have my lights on, whenever I press the brake the main light goes out. When I take my foot off the brake, the light comes back on. Do I need to replace the bulb, or is that something in the whole light??
