well i got a bezel from ga galant and it was stock with the woodgrain now i just started to cut it to fit my 7" screen it looks like this now

still have to sand it down and primer and paint and then clear coat will update pics. Im going to put the headunit i have into the glovebox and move the controls down one spot.

after 150 grit

base coat and clear coat next base is drying still needs a lil bondo to fill gaps but doing that later on

when we get a chance me and my bro are gonna redo the whole thing i think the cold fucked with the paint and there were peeling and shyt but for now i like it ill post pics with the monitor in it too

Good job man...

Take as many pics as possible. I'm gonna be doing this eventally...a pic by pic tutorial would be great.

not hard at all you just cut the center part then cut the sides a couple cm's the tops fit only the bottom part of my screen has a lil box on the bottom for the holder you need to cut a lil square out and it'll fit. I wanna thank goosey for the help he told me that all you need is tape to hold it in there so when im done im gonna be doing that but it real easy took me like a hour for the cutting to get it just right

oh man thaz nice..
I have a question I have indash motorized dvd/lcd i want to take the lcd out and put indash permantly... but i m afraid i mess it up.. :x

i wouldnt know how to do that if u want try to sell the motorized and just buy a 7'

ya i think i m gone buy 7' monitor and dvd seprate from ebay or something...becuase i really like this set up monitor attach inside...it looks good

Nice touch going with the xenarc! Are you running roadrunner or other frontends? And why are you still using you HeadUnit?

im usinf rr and the headunit is because i dont wanna get a fm modulator so im using the hu and also thats where my sound is coiming from i have an aux on it and its just one plug

You dont need the headunit, get XMdirect with the pc cable. Also use the line out from the pc to go to your crossover,amps, etc.........
Or get a 5.1 soundcard and run it like that from the carpc.

yea i dont wanna pay n e thing just the easiest thing and isnt xm u gotta pay monthly? its the easiest setup without getting another amp or anything

3.0 ghz 512 mem cd-rw/dvd-rw 120gig its a dell pc its really thin got a real good price on it and i couldnt let it go

looks good but. it would look 3 times as better if you took some fiberglass, shoot even a can of body filler and molded the monitor in.

i am its just freezing out now and itll take awhile to dry right now i just wanted it in but it will get done in the spring time

I just did like 4 carpc's with molding and man the glassing is a bitch and to do it right you have to take your time, unless of course you have a dremel :wink:

its done now montior and deck put in i will take pics soon only thing is the ac controls need to sit flush now but that no biggey
