Door Panel

Can someone please tell me how to take the front passenger door pannel off of my 97 galant it has power windows and locks.

Read that it give you most info you need. The switch area just pops out of the door and unplug the cable from the back

That doesnt really help me. The door handle for the passenger side is what im catching hell with. But thanks anyway.

The damn door handle that u close the door with is screwed in or something.. and i cant pop it out without breaking the whole pannel

There is a screw behind the door handle in the top corner, Unscrew that and pull the cup out a little and toward the dash(left) and it should come rights off

Not that part. The big door handle that u grab to close the door. There is something thats holding that in and i cant find out what it is.

u have to pop the handle/lock piece out first to disconnect the power lines then u take the door panel off

their is a really large hook built into the panel... once u unscrew everthing u have to move the panel upwards a lil to get off the hook...

Ok here is a pic i snatched from a guy on here (sorry dude i like your interior) but what im talking about is what the arrow is pointing to. P.S. they guy that i took the pic from please dont get mat. I just dont have a camera.

I think you have to take the whole door piece off and you should be able to reach it from back there

just yank up on that handle after u undo all the screws and unsnap the bottom. the handle is just part of the door panel.. its not bolted to the door itself
