CAI to short ram intake

can u turn CAI TO SHORT RAM My intake goes all the way down..i want short ram i m thinking cut the pipe?

one of the pipes should come off.. the long part that goes down should end at one point before the bend

if you have a 2 piece intake pipe then just delete the lower pipe. if you have a single piece intake pipe you can cut the pipe but! make sure the diamater are of pipe on the end and where you want the new end to be are the same. or you might need a new coupler.

ya i got that part but i dont have anything that will hold it, dont want to leave it hanging.. :?:

Mine had two vibra mounts in CAI mode... one on the block, and one on the passenger side near the front where the stock air box used to bolt on. When I changed it to short ram, i only kept the mount on the block. It seems like it sags a bit to the left and rubs against the battery, but I keep checking it every couple of weeks and all is fine.

well with all custom work, you're gonna have to make a custom bracket then.

My old AEM WAI had a bracket that went from the corner of the MAS to the top of the upper coolant pipe - maybe you can fabricate something similar:

ya thax for all the ideas.. i have to make custom brakets..for now its just hanging..reason i want short ram the car has tottaly diffrent tone
