Idle control Vavle? HELP

I'm looking on ebay and i can't find one, there are some for the eclipse, but they are not the same, any clues or hints. New cost over $300. I have the 4 cyl es 99 galant.

Yeah, I know. The problem is I don't want to drop $300. I'm trying to save some cash. I was hoping someone has a totaled 8G at home. thanks though. If i can't find one I might hit you up, thanks

i looked at some online catalogs and they say the one for the i4 8g is the same for the outlander, the evo and the i4 3g eclipse. don't quote me on that though, thats what the catalogs say.

that is 2g eclipse. the 3g is pretty much the same years as the 8g galant.just follow the year patterns though.

3g - 2000 8g - 2000
3g - 2001 8g - 2001
etc...

the 3G starts in 2000-2004
the 8g is from 1999-2003

I called the dealer last week for an Idle Control Valve (Sensor Throttle Speed Control) and the price they gave me was $177.66 @ Star Mitsubishi in Queens. My car is a 2001 4cyl. ES.

What symptons are you having and are you sure it's the IAC and you just dont need ur throttle body cleaned?

you should just look on car-parts.com / look up your year and select throttle body as parts find the cheapest throttlebody call the pace that has it and see how much the IAC sensor is

that is unless you want a new one
