Check the Evo sites? Slowboyracing?

there are a few sites that list them with their built motors, but dont sell them seperate......and slowboy only has stk rebuilt cranks

wow forged crank?
that seems like way overkill.
why no get a new oem one,
or one that has been knife edged adn lightened, balanced.
i think even the highest hp 4g63's and 4g64's are running a stock crank.

this is what you need. you can get it new, or remanufactured

what happened to your crank?

^ these guys can sell you a knife edged/butchered 4g64 crank for your 8g. 1000 for it. if you want to talk about fast revs there you go. there is nothing faster.
^thats cheaper than any forged crank i've ever seen.

but honestly, i think your money would be spent better elsewhere.
like on the head or perhaps some strong pistons, rods, fasteners, and some quality machine labor.

the stock crank is forged and nitrided steel. you can't do much better over it.
what you can do to improve it:
lighten it, micropolish the journals, knife edge it, get your entire rotating assembly balanced.

nothing wrong with my crank....but io ordered some pistons, and figured while i had it out, i would try and upgrade it....how much hp you think it can handle

simple answer.
as much as you can throw at it.
your crank won't fail before you main caps started walking.
your crank is fine.
remeber the 1000+hp 2.4l evo over in europe? it was runing on a stock crank

AMS has tthe fastest drag turbo in the world. they are making nearly 900 something hp.
they run the stock crank.
jsut to give you an idea.

take that money, and buy some good rods,
some good fasteners, like ARP headbolts.

then use the rest for some good fuel management.
and you will have a very very fast ride.
oh yeah and a larger turbo and injectors. lol
aren't you still on a 14b or t-25?
if you want to make a ton of power and keep boost low, get a vtrim.

i am still on the 14b, but might be buyin a talon with a 16g and thinkin about swappin em

yeah, might get some head bolts and rods....but which rods can i use?????
the rods i use are 100mm in length...(i believe)
and the 2g rods are 88mm
which would lower my comp right????

in that case,i got some 8.5:1 pistons and with the 88mm rods it would lower even more....which in my case would be bad

also, i know i can use the 2g injectors, but i have yet to find anyone to give me a good diagram on how to wire the honda resister pack

id run these questions by stewi
he's more into the evo internals than i am.

but you definatly want to get your fuel system in check before it causes you any problems in the future.
