Wig-wags for front and rear lights!!!

front 2.6 flashes/sec.
rear 2.4 flashes/sec.

same system that police use.

Federal Signal Corp.

Yes i know the risks running them on the street! i have no intention of using them for anything other than to show off in a parking lot or in an off-road "motorcade".

nice nice..those are fun. I have a set on my car that I got off EBAY, just a homemade kit, and they are hooked up to just my rears right now, it looks sick with the 3rd brake light in the spoiler alternating also. And I had them hooked up to the front until I got into my accident last summer and got the JDM headlights, and Goosey2099 rewired my high and low beams together, and I think they are too powerful now for the kit.

Plan on pulling somebody over? In the second pic I thought it said "FAG" instead of "FA6". https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif I was going to say, "why did you get a Fag Tail Light Flasher?"

***EDITED***well, i got it all wired up, but i have one problem. the third brake light and the driver side brake light flash but not the passenger side. i have replaced all the bulbs recently in the tails and the light works when i hit the brakes.

the wire i taped into to get the brakes to flash was a solid green with 2 silver dashes about every 2 inches. anyone have any suggestions?

Got it fixed!!! Videos to follow shortly!!

DAMN, your joint looks like a cop car. https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif I like it. Are you able to adjust the speed of it?

no speed adjustments. if i wanted to melt all of the goo that they sealed it up with, i would be able to wire in a speed control knob, but i am fine with the way it runs and don't feel like adding to it right now.

I do have plans to make it so that i have an on/off/on switch to utilize the hazard switch to control the wig-wags so that when the swich is in one position, the hazards work and in the other position the wig-wags work.

the last thing i need is for them to come on accidentally and get pulled over for impersonating a cop!

I have the strobe kit from StreetGlow and its pretty fun, but not bright enough for me...

I'll be getting my Whalen 4 or 6 head system shipped to me soon... just not sure which one

i just did strobe lights in my friends park lights and corner lights. we ste the park lights to slow and the corners to fast and it looks so much like a cop car being that it is an Impala SS. i thought you have to get the frequency correct but somehow his lights are able to change the lights to green like emergency vehicles. so we use that when no cops are around. i want wig wags on my car though, how hard was the install?

the install took me 1.5 hours and there is a trick to getting the tails to work correctly but it was an easy fix. all you need is 30ft. of wire for extensions and the wires are pretty easy to find.

front... light green/red... rt high beam
front... yellow/red... left high beam

rear... red/blue... reverse lights
rear... green... brake lights

with the brakes, you need to run a wire from the driver side to the passenger side and splice on the driver and cut and reconnect the new wire to the passenger tails. otherwise you will have a problem with not all the tails flashing.

let me know if you need any more help.

damn that looks pretty good.nice work.

id be too paranoid to use them around here.even in my driveway.my neighbors would stick their heads out their windows to stare then who knows what they'd do after that.

Looks good, I had red and blues under my front grille at my last job and a set of red/blue/yellow along my rear window deck, they were wired to my highbeams though....I still have a set of red/blue lights that attach to the passenger visor and flip down....

Since you're not LE, I hope you know it's a felony to use those on the street...so be careful and dont even play around when on the streets.

Yeah, i plan on wiring them up with a "double-throw" style setup so that 2 switches have to be on for it to work and it won't be easily accessable so no accidents will happen.

i have a friend that is a licensed investigator and wanted wig-wags on his official investigations vehicle, and i got these free when i went through an ordeal to get the ones for my friend, so i decided to install them for fun to show him that i knew how to install them.

If you know where i can get the really loud horns that the police use, he wanted one of those too.
