Trunk Release

I just put a system in my G and I notice I can't lock the trunk (from the trunk release)....Do anyone know where I can disconnect the trunk release cable?

open your trunk and you'll see the cable going to the latch. you can disconect it there

there should be a valet switch on the latch that renders the interior cable non-functional, so you dont need to unhook anything.

i thought that was taken out on the 02-03 models??

Yeah that trunk release lock isn't there....and I was looking at where the cable is conected in the trunk and its not that easy to just disconnect it....any other ideas? And yes I do have a 02

anyone notice the lil guy running away from an open trunk on the handle inside the trunk lid? lol first time i saw that i started busting up laughin so bad..

I have a 02 and I dont have a keyhole to unlock the trunk if I did that

No keyhole for the trunk but as the other guy said you should be able to disable the inside switch from the trunk latch itself.
