Hi, I know for 01 galant I need something like a +45 off on my 18'' rims. Would 38+ offset be okay and if not, what problems would it cause? Thanks

on a stock setup you can run +38 mm no problem.

if you have a bbk, you might need something with a lower offset to clear the brakes.

if you plan to lower your car, you might want to run something with higher than a 38mm offset to reduce your chances of rubbing.

Yeah, I have +35mm offset (I think, it may be +33mm) and it rubs in the back with a TEIN spring drop.

that second set IMO looks nicer than the first set but then its more common than sliced bread. so i'd go with neither.

so, basically would rims of 18x7 with 45mm offset would work with a tein drop on kyb struts???

plus...if that works...what size tires you guys recommend?

I ran 18x7.5 with +45 offset on 225 tires and a tein drop and I didn't even come close to rubbing.
