here is my car i was changing my rear motor mount, fixed my exhaust leak, installed my slim fans and mocked up a new non adjustable strutbar should have it done soon... the things i do at 5am hahaha i stayed up all night cuz it was hot in the house

Those wheels are not mine, they only put those on there to transport the G across the street from the shop to the painter. I have some gram lights that went on, pain in the ass to find something to fit over the brembos. i should have the car back tomorrow and at MOD more clearer pix will be taken. I bought the mirrors off of Allan (pinoyesv6). They're Ractive power-folding mirrors. The wiring was done by a friend of mine at Explicit Auto, so I don't have any documentation. However, the LED's were wired into the turn signals and he tapped a 12volt line for the power-folding. We used the switch that came with the mirrors. I believe the mirrors were originally for a 97 accord.

I'm gonna get them painted as soon as I'm able to get approval from my better half! Budget stuff...

Thanks a lot. I'm going to paint it black with some sort of antirust paint. Then I'm going to wrap it all with black heatwrap. If possible I'll try to use some braided hose to make it look as stock as possible.

Hahaha you got me. I really didn't want to relocate the battery just yet. Though I might do that after I finish everything. At the very least to offset any weight gain in the front. The turbo alone weights about as much as our battery.

The problem with that method is that it will be in the way of the oil feed line. The white plastic you see is about as high as the line runs.

The fun is still far from over. It seems that this project will never stop. After finishing the IC piping, I noticed that the wastegate wont fit anymore. Now I have to redo the wastegate section, as I'm totally unwilling to touch the IC piping.

Impressive Jet...the fabrication looks nice and clean. Less bends will be better but you can always redo the piping afterwards..the initial fab work is the hardest. You are a few steps ahead of me when it comes to welding...I just recently started to learn to weld and fabricate I/C piping.

Nice job with the IC piping!

Just a word of note - finish the 5 speed swap *before* putting the turbo piping on - I had to remove most of the piping to get at bolts and stuff. Plus, you will get a bit more room in there once the ginormous auto tranny is out of the way.

you get get a drop and live in NY. Lot's on NY members here are dropped. You just gotta change your driving style a bit to help you avoid the really big potholes. Snow, isn't a problem neither unless you get more than 10 inches in which case, you would have to dig your car out even if it wasn't dropped.

Take it from me if you are dropping your G get struts too GR-2's, AGX's, or something better than stock. I dropped my G without new struts and not I am looking for some because mine have blown. So if you can wait wait and get the struts too and put it all on at one time, or you will be doing it twice like me https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif Also on the pothole thing i'm not in NY but we have some bad ones in ATL too. A little over a week ago I was pulling out of a parking lot not looking for a pothole and dropped in one and got stuck for a sec. Furious and Chulo, Pinoyesv6 helped me order it, so he'd be the one who has the real details. But yeah, it's very close to that integra lip you posted up, but it's a half bumper as per Allan. so it rises up a bit higher then then the straight lip does.

i wish! my car came stock with manual mirrors but i only have that main harness behind the dash for the switch...i searched for a JDM switch with the folding control.no luck or too pricey...i gave up searching and just grabbed a normal switch to control the glass.and ill take the wires that control the folding and run them through everything to an aftermarket switch ive got installed that doesnt do anything.

yea.the only thing i didnt uderstand is that i obviously had the harness for the switch...but when i removed the door panels.no signs of a harness for the mirrors...i ripped apart the wire looms left and right.wasnt tucked away anywhere.so i said ok...went under my dash..started tracing the wires from the switch harness...it all went into a huge loom with another set of wires from who knows what...and i gave up from there because it was 100+ degrees out.

Don't worry, we all got to start somewhere. You'll love the ST115 (I thought they were discontinued, maybe only in 17s?) just don't expect too long life from them. Show us some pics of the Chevy too!
