ight so I got my liberal grille from Trigg, been had my 98+ vr-4 bumper for a few weeks now and JDM headlights. the liberal grill came with its own mesh (I wish I had told Trigg to make sure to order it without, learn from me) and i want the bumper and grill mesh to match as i will be keeping them silver for now. I order the sample pack from www.customcargrill.com and picked a few i like. for the bumper the flat xxl mesh looks great but i am confused now since i tried it on the liberal grill let me know what you guys think I included some other ones too that came in the sample kit

you aint got no steel factories in your area. you can get mesh for cheap there. The ones on the right by the way.

Rich, i was thinking about this before when you called me but I forgot to tell you. When I had my cyber 2 kit, I had that mesh in my grille and it rusted. You need to cut it how you want it, test fit it and once all the work is done to it, you need to paint it with rustoleum paint or else it will rust in like 2 weeks....

Actually, i would go with the hexagon desing...it's different. Everything else looks like regular mesh....Since you're painting it, you can make it glossier yourself. I now you like the first one because of the shine.

Well i ordered the small diamond, although I was debating between the small diamond and the small hexagon for about a few hours, man its all about the details, atleast if i get tired of the small diamond I can always get the small hexagon later on.

Thanks guys!

I was going to say, the small diamond looks best. I'm glad you chose that one.

I would definitely clear coat the mesh. Back when I first modified my grill and used aluminum mesh without coating it with anything, it didn't rust like steel would, but it did corrode and the finish became real dull and gray looking.

yep exactly thats why its getting the clear coat since aluminum may not rust but it oxidates.

Well technically, rust is oxidation, so I guess aluminum does rust in it's own way. https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif
