I am looking for a hid kit But i use 9003 would that be the H4 Kit. And if u have high and low beam kit ca n u pass inspection?

if your car didn't come with hid's from the factory then its illegal to have them on for street use. meaning you'd fail inspection more than likely

i haven't got pulled over for my HID's (and i have 6 now)... cops pull me over for the more obvious things on the car.

back on topic... an H4 bulb is also referred to as a 9003 or an HB2.

im an inspector.. if u car is giving off TOO much light i would consider that a GOOD thing.. aslong as its aimed i would pass it.. but what i look for on headlights is for not enought light or discolorization.. but also i have to check to make sure they are aimed correctly..

i cant do tint yet.. i dont have a meter.. but if i happen to not notice the tint then there is nothing i can do..

U guys at inspection places can only test the 4 windows for dark tint right i dont think with the meter u can check the rear window correct?

Okay, am I misreading this thread or not? I thought you had to mod your headlights to have HID put in. If there's a "kit" so to speak, where have you found yours? I've been looking for new head/tail lights for my g and haven't found much for the 8th gen g. As far as inspections, no worries. I'm in SC we don't have car inspections anymore. Haven't in 10 years I believe. Regardless, they quit doing inspections 2 months after I got a ticket for expired inspection sticker. https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif

Anyone like the Cyber body kit from kgs? I found that one and really like it. Was planning on getting it installed when I get mine repainted.
