service engine soon...

ok i got my front wheel bearings done, my rotos replaced and new brakes. not what i wanted to spend my cash on but had to be done.

i have only had this car for a week now, so i never paid much attention, but does everyones service engine soon light come on when you start the car? it only says on for a sec, then goes away. should it not be coming on at all?

also, can you warm your car up in the morning and have the doors locked at the same time?

if the light goes away its fine. if it stays on, thats how u know you have a problem

yes, its suppost to come on for 5-7 seconds on start up.
