So, problem is that when my key is in the start position, the light on the odometer is on, when I turn on my parking lights and headlights, it goes off. Now, the lights around the HVAC controls and radio don't work at all. All of the warning lights, door ajar, etc. all still work. Hopefully it is understandable.

everything still works but the gauge lights, radio and HVAC lights. All fuses are good.

Yes sir. I know I can be slow sometimes, but I did try anything. It's just backwards on that light on the odometer. Could that be a relay?

the light on the odometer is supposed to go dim because the other lights on the cluster begins to light it up

Is it supposed to be on at all times while in the acc/on position even while the parking lights/headlights aren't on? Thanks for helping me out this much pinoy. I know you are the electrical guy on this site along with a few others.

i believe its like this. if the numbers on the lcd are up, then the backlighting is up .then if you turn on the parking light then that backlight dims out.

pull your cluster out, fairly simple, then you can just twist out the bulbs to see if they are blown. all mine blew a while back. even the a/c

They were fine, I can't think of what it is.

Thanks for thinking for me. But yes, Pinoy, that is what it is.
