AGX dials broken?

Ok, so I was just checking my brand new KYB AGX shock/struts before installing them. I had no problem adjusting the rear shocks (push the thingy in, turn it, pops back), but I have some issues with the fronts.

On one of them, I can't even push down the little button.

On the other one, I can push it in and turn it, but it doesn't pop back again, as it should according to the manual. (It pops back into position 2, but not in the other three)

So are these pretty much broken? I'm just having a hard time believing I have such a bad luck...

Also should I go ahead and have the whole struts replaced, or will I be able to replace the dials only? (the adjusters are on the top of the struts)

If you send em back to KYB they pose to send you a new one back.

pull the dial with the numbers out and put it back in and try it out.

ok, thanks. I pulled out the dial on both of them. One of them is broken (I can adjust, but have to hold the dial with the numbers on it in place, or it will spin) The other seems to work fine.

Should I wait with the install till I get the new dial, or can I go ahead and replace it later, while on the car?
