Scraping noise

I think i might have worn out my brakes possibly. Every time i brake it sounds like somebody is sliding a shovel across concrete from the rear passenger side. Im going to get a free brake inspection tomorrow since i dont know what to look for myself when it comes to brakes...

All n All, if it isnt my brakes, any ideas on what it might be?

I'm having the same issue. My girlfriends cousins boyfriend who is a auto tech says it's a bad wheel bearing. Funny enough it's he same spot where yours is bad.

Does this sound only happpen when it is cool out, like in the mornings? do you have drum brakes on the rear? If so, I had this happen last year, have your shoes replaced, Mine were glazed over. they were like rock, I put new ones on and the sound went away. hope this helps.
