Ash Tray Light change?

I am am getting all the light problems last few days, my ashtray light went out, anyone knows how to change it? Do i have to take the panel out or can it be replaced just by removing the tray?

i believe you need to remove the panel. to do that, remove the ash try, remove the bezel around the shifter and pull the panel towards the rear of the car.
