I want to do that covertion I can get a head from a 95 dohc
for free and I want to know everthing I will need to do that
and if I'm going to need computer and wiring harness and if
is to complicated I not doing it
what you guys think?

'95 galant dohc? i though the only dohc year was '94...but '95 eclipse is dohc.

Parts List for DOHC head swap

1) DOHC head(filling 5 water holes on the block) 1g is better
2) galant gs timing belt
3) head gasket
4) cam gears
5) harness
6) ECU
7) if possible low comp pistons



14b TURBO

1) Mitsubishi 14b Turbo
2) intake manifold (1g is better)
3) exhaust manifold (2g is better)
4) 02 housing
5) resistor pack
6) 450cc injectors
7) safc
8) boost controller
9) bov
10) i/c piping
11) i/c
12) downpipe
13) turbo inlet pipe
14) oil lines
15) water lines

Well you should remember this! High compression if going non turbo, 94 GS was DOHC 10.5 to 1. You want lower compression for turbo apps.

I am not sure if these questions were asked already, but I'll ask anywayz. I wanted to switch to DOHC using 94GS Galant head, since I would have to do less moding then going with the Eclipse dohc. And if that company wiseco end up making lower compression pistons to go turbo. Wouldn't that set up produce a lot more hp especially torque coz of bigger displacement then the 4g63t ???
On the Dohc - is there a big difference between the one from the 94gs galant vs the one off the eclipse ??? Coz if theres really not the 94gs would just bolt on instead of messing with the water holes from the eclipse. :roll:
