Ok I searched and Couldnt find exactly what i was looking for.
I have a '03 Galant and am trying to remove the "ES" and the Diamonds (and the Word GALANT in the rear) Couple of Questions:

1) What works best to remove the "ES", the Diamonds and the "GALANT" emblems from the rear as they are hard as hell to remove

2) Will there be any holes left once these three badges are removed?

i used fishing line to break apart the stuff behind the badge. be careful to not get too close to the body. then sparingly use goo gone or paint thinner to get the rest of the adhesive off.... just be sure to be quick about it and not use too much unless your not really fond of your clear coat. wipe off w/ an old t and some wax...

1) I used the 3m remover from autozone.
2) There is 2 holes under the diamond emblem.

Heat gun and fishing line or dental floss.
Then goo gone or WD-40 to remove glue.
Works good 8)

The easiest way is to use a heat gun, I removed all of my badges this way. Heat gun it for a couple of seconds then they come right off

i used floss at first, and the adhesive was sticky as hell. just shoot the badge with a blow dryer. run the floss behind while heating, and the floss will go right through.

carefully scrape off the major excess with your finger, then goo gone that shit away!

then, as everyone else said, wipe, wash, wax.

one of the easiest car mods (mod? eh almost) ive done.

To make it easy on yourself, and so you don't have to buy anything you could do what I did:

Park in sun for an hour or so
Use fishing line/dental floss to remove
Use WD-40 to clean up the remaining junk

Worked perfectly for me, the WD-40 I had around took it off very easily. Just sprayed it on and took a soft cloth to it.

Use fish line, then to rub off all the residue, get a sponge and a gasoline. Done.
