FTO DOHC Mivec V6 engine

Whats the deal with this engineFTO DOHC Mivec V6 engine. does anyone know if it is better then the evo 4g63. is it a better swap to an 8g...or is it even possible....i know some people swap that engine into mirage's.

Don't know if the swap can be done, I have seen people swap in a 6a13tt in a FTO, so like that old saying, anything can be done with money. But worth while, I think the 63t swap is a better swap. The FTO tranny can be hard to find.

Sure you can swap a FTO MiVEC V6 in your 8G, but you going to be hard pressed to get parts for it. You are much better off using a 4G63t. Much better aftermarket support as well as much better availibity of parts to replace on the motor when needed for repair or upgrade.

I think the FTO V6 would be cool, but hella expensive, and hella downtime if you have problems.

Stick with the 4G63t.

sry to "steal the post" but while where on the topic of mivec does anyone know it the i4 mivec head would fit on the 8g 4g64 and if there is any difference between the 4g64 head and the mivec?
