Trying to keep a mostly stock look but add an aftermarket exhaust for a lil low rumble to go with the Injen Short Ram..

Measured the stock muffler, its 7" tall by 12" wide, closest thing Magnaflow had to that was 5" tall by 8" wide oval muffler. Good news is that the length of the can is 18" and overall with both inlet and outlet tips its 24", which is very close to the stock muffler (20" canister length)

So here's what I'm gonna try to work with:
http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/parts/14245.jpg

At the end of my stock bumper theres about 6" of piping that used to be about 12" till I cut it and added my own tip. Before, I was shopping for a muffler big enough to fill the stock one and the tip didn't stick out, but I just decided I will remove the tip I'm using now and have it welded on to the Magnaflow ^^^ there.

The only thing im worried about is the 5"x 8" being so much smaller than the stock size, does anyone think there will be problems getting the magnaflow to stay snug in the undercarriage of the car or will it hang down? I dont want it to hang down at ALL, the piping that comes out of the stock bumper kind of curves down a bit and I'd like the new piping to do the same.

Heres the muffler page: http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/shopexd...one=main&id=851 ('http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/shopexd.asp?zone=main&id=851')

that welded metal rod holds it in place. make sure when they're welding it on that you check to see if you have the muffler aligned right.

didn't mean to be misleading... I'd bought it off e-bay just before posting the link. I should have it before the end of next week. I'll post pics as soon as I get it installed.
