im looking through this website....(click on the tires tab)

and im wondering why do some 225/40/19 fit and other brands dont with the same specs??... while some 245/40 fit and 245/35 dont on some brands... just a little confused...

manufacturers have a set range for which a tire will fit. here's toyo's ('http://www.toyo.com/tires/tire_specsheet.cfm?id=2') example for one of their tires.

***edit ...ahhh i didnt know the wheels i was lookin at was 7.5" when most tires are are for 8.0 to 9.5
