I have one in the spot between the mirrors and the fog switch. I took that panel out and had to modify it. I took the hard plastic plug holder out which you dont need. I then drilled a hole in the panel where my switch is going.(in Middle) Its not hard and I only needed a drill and a knife i think.
If you cant figure it out I will poist pics when my car gets out of paint.

the main reason i choose this spot was cause its replacable if i ever want it back stock.

I just ran the wires through the A pillar and then pulled down the headliner above the windsheild a little to help pull the wires through. Then i had to take the rubber sunroof trim off and pull the headliner down a little there to plug all the wires in.

You don't really wanna come off with comments like that to the senior members, you'll get no information like that. (1)

I GUESS YOU MISSED THIS ONE. ('https://www.thegalantcenter.org/viewtopic.php?t=40600&highlight=switches')

If you're told search, it's because this issue has been discussed 1,000,000 times before, be humble and SEARCH some more. If even then you can't find the answer, you can find who to PM and ask. Let that person tell you, "gee, i don't know, start a thread on that"(2)

Lazy people like to be spoon fed (3)

Search for the thread on how to Search (4)

And lastly, you are told to search because is more difficult to search through 1000 threads with the similar information than 100.

have a good day.

You know what i wasnt even going to reply to that but honestly but when you combine a statement like "be humble" with "lazy people wanna be spoon fed". You probally been a senior member a while and dont know what its like to have to ask for help and dont know what end is up. Rather than go on and on i tell you i beg no one for help the people on here that i have had conversations with and helped me i give them much respect and am appreciative. So if my 9 posts with my repetitive forum annoys you that much when you see BigShot just look the other way.

have a good day as well

Besides the few people who have done something custom with switches on the board, you might want to try somewhere like cardomain.com. I would say that is your best bet if you are looking for something on a Galant specifically.

Don't worry about some people getting on your case about searching, happens every time. I think it is almost like an instant reaction, when a newb posts, someone almost always replies with a reply that reads "search!” Anyways, there is a lot of useful information throughout the site, so it is a good idea to always search first, but I know it can be difficult to find things sometimes...

PM me if you want, and I will try and help you out to the best of my ability https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif And welcome to TGC https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif

I dont know if you have it, but under the climate control is a cubby hole. If you find a peice of plastic and cut it to size, you can use it for all your toggles or switches. Ive currently got 3(street glow, sub cutoff, and interior neons) I have room for about 4-5 more depending on how much room you leave between the switches. Best thing is they are right in reach from the shifter. If you need pics, let me know I can get some. Good luck with your project.

Im trying to setup my halos and i got a new switch and an inline fuse holder now i need to figure out how to get the wires past the firewall from the headlight to the switch which will be on the inside i cant seem to find any hole to get that wire past the firewall. And can you let me know me know the colors of the wires and their location that i can splice into for the power source. Thanks
