Clean the throttle body for the pedal sticking. The car shaking in reverse could be a motor mount or your rear drums.

thought i would give a small update, today i went outside and traced the throttle cable to a small black metal box and it has 2 screws on it, so i take the screws off and the top of the box comes off and i look at it and see some round things on it and i noticed when i would move them with my hand they would stick, soo im guessing this is where my gas pedal is sticking but i dont know how to go about fixing or even know what this thing is so if anyone can give me some info on it that would be awsome and heres a pic of what im talking about https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif

that is your cruise control "box". if you want to ditch your cruise control, you can buy a shorter "standard" throttle cable and run the cable right from the pedal to the throttle body. or if you just want to fix it i would think some wd40 would work. what's making it stick exactly?

whats makin it stick exactly i still havent figured out, but those pulleys in that little box are sticking like my gas pedal is its either that or its some where between where the cable goes from the pedal through the firewall cause every place else is fine

have you checked the throttle body plate contact inside the throttle body? mine used to stick there until i used some brake parts cleaner and got it spiffy clean again.

where exactly is it located? i have nothing to do today so i will try that

EDIT:i found out where it is in my book and do i have to take the whole thing out to clean it?

the throttle body? uh...

remove your intake and you can look into the throttle body and see if it's sticking as you open it manually on the side

ok so i took off the intake and checked it and it was fine, i did spray some WD40 on the cruise control pulleys and it seems to have helped some but im not sure

ok if the motor mounts arent causing my G to idle rough while in reverse what else could it be?
