okay guys, the site was down for like a week, but i cleared my corners finally. I have no pics because of camera issues but here's the best way.
After about two hours of trying to break it out, i gave up, and its not the best way!!! I ended up scratching my shiny silver thing.

BEST WAY BY FAR:

1) take off the grill and take out the head lights completely
2) get a hair drier and get it warmed (i mean hotted) up
3) use the blow drier and melt the glue around the whole housing (15 solid minutes should do it)
4)pull it apart (easy)
5)unscrew the miror (one screw)
6)pull out the amber (very east to do)
7) reassemble DONE

i have a paint can opener that i got from lowes for free when i bought some paint. it retails for about the dollar. easiest thing to use IMO

it has a lil hook at the end that you can use to break the lens out.

but if you do want open up your headlights, at least invest 10-15 bucks on a cheap heat gun instead of a blow dryer. yea, it doesn't really matter for opening the headlights up, but if you are reusing the old sealant, you'll get a better seal using the heat gun.

yeah, i guess its really up to you what you do to your car, but when i looked around for a few hours after trying the breaking method, i found that idea. So what other easy things like that can i do?

When I did mine I just drilled a small hole through one of the reflector legs then broke it and pulled it out. I didn't get any scratched on my headlights. Filled the hole with silicone, never had a problem. Took some time and frustration to get all the pieces out though heh.

I found just using a screw driver and a hammer works just fine. I didn't scratch anything on mine or put a hole in my heads
