I know its not a big deal to anybody, but I was proud of my work so I had to post a couple of pics. https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif
I mounted the volume control switch for my amp next to my shifter. I drilled a tiny hole to allow the light from the led to shine through also. It looks good at night.

Thanks man.I also decided to hardwire a power inverter in my storage bin today also. Its wired up to the cig lighter. It turned out to be easier than I thought it would. http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e267/ReganH22/DSC05881.jpg

what does a bass knob do? is it just to adj the bass... the alpine i have lets me control bass coming from the speakers and the sub as two different settings, is it like that?

Yeah, different companies have different ways to allow you to adjust the amps from up front (versus the ass-hanging-out-of-the-trunk-method). I like how Alpine has the additional cable that runs from the amp to the head unit that allows you to "tweek" the amp from the head unit. I'm a big fan of Alpine, so I tend to lean more towards them.

FBI the knob controls the AMP that the sub is hooked up to. I can cotrol the sub from my deck, but I can make it hit harder with the knob.
