door panel paint

I am trying to put some vinyl on my door panels...
my question is: what kind of paint can I use for the part on my door panels that I can't put vinyl on.
I would assume its not the same paint one would use to paint the exterior of the car.

I'm using Krylon Fusion on mine. You do mean the plastic parts, correct?

I scuffed mine up with 800 grit sand paper then 3 coats of Krylon Fusion and 2 coats of Krylon Fusion Clear, came out nice

I used 80 grit and then 400 grit sandpaper. 3 coats of krylon fusion satin and two coats of clear.
