that method works. you can also rub your hand on the plastic piece for a couple years and achieve the same effect.

nice find also use mothers chrome polish it the best i use it on my rims all the time

I'd suggest to use 800 between the 600-1000 so the 1000 doesn't have to work so hard plus you won't have any deep 600 scratches still popping out.

it works. but i wouldn't start off with 600 or you'll just sand off the paint.

what is there to order? all the things you need are available at your local auto parts store, and sometimes places like walmart if you're lucky

i used Meguiare's PlastiX on the shifter bezel but but it didn't work so i painted it it :D now i didnt use the same sand paper listed but i will get the mothers plastic polish and try it and follow it step by step and see if i can get some results
