where is it at?? i was at some site and their selling one for our cars... did a quick search n couldnt find it in the glovebox or hood...

Oh sorry men I sent the pic to krispy03 by mistake. There is one cabinet behind the globe box on 8gs. I found a services manual (download) on the galantforum for the 8G.

on the 4g eclipse its behind the glovebox. same as the 8g galant and the 3g eclipse. so it might be there behind the glove box on the 9g too.

the thing is, on the 4g eclipse, like the later 8g galant and 3g eclipse, the cabin filter was optional. meaning that if you wanted a cabin filter, you'd have to cut out the cutout and put a cabin filter in there. the dealer sells you a kit if you wanted to add one on. i wouldn't be surprised if it was the same for the 9g.

it doesnt have one unless installed by you. Or someone else.

but it would be behind the glove box.

I know it's a little off topic, but does anyone know where the recirculation vent is in the 9G or where is draws the air back in to recirculate?

also behind the glove box. The recirc vent is in the same housing as the filter, if you were to install one.
there are basically 2 parts to the HVAC system. One box (in the center of the car) houses the AC evaporator and heater core.
the other box is on the right of the car, and houses the blower motor, intake snorkle, etc.etc.
