I might just get these wheels. I will be running one Tein SS-P Suspension

Tires and not known yet....

Axis TC EVO Red or Blue LIP 19x8 5x100 or 5x114.3 and +35 offset

http://www.recycler.com/tires/detail.class...earch_zip=91748 ('http://www.recycler.com/tires/detail.classified?id=RCY-196-10453203&search_zip=91748')

I can get em for $425.00

Billet says it works, requires cutting all the metal within the rear wheel well. Damn

But i was also looking at....

http://rbmotoring.com/gallery/album226?page=1 ('http://rbmotoring.com/gallery/album226?page=1')

Look through the pages, but IONO if any of them fit. Can we fit 18x9 Rear?

LOL

What wheels sizes fit an 8g? (including offset mixes)

you're probably gonna run into a problem with 9 inch wide wheels in the rear.

my bbs's are 8.5 inch with 235/40 tires, a lil oversized but take that into consideration, but yea, my camber is within factory spec and i barely rub in the back. oh yea, im pushing like a 38/40 mm offset. it was one of the two.

i know, but if you read the link, they are attachable/detachable parts. Imma run w/o them. you can add them and paint them any color...

damn, I think those are WORK Vs's. those are very slick wheels. and insanely expensive if you buy them new. but it looks like it would take some major work to get them new looking.

100 a wheel to fix to brand new. so 1200 w/o tires.

Definately like those other ones, and 1200 is pretty good.

True words of wisdom.

I'd say go with the V's but I like Axis Wheels and think that set would add a nice bold touch to your car.

I'd go with the Work wheels, but expect to roll your rear inner fender lips. If you get the TC Evo wheels, get the rings painted white to match your car. That would look hot. I actually looked into buying a set of those rings and trying to make them fit my rims so I could paint them Bodega Beige.

just came back from RB motoring. They have like 7 GT-Rs just sitting there and half the warehouse floor filled w/ used JDM wheels. I was dying.

Well i haggled and am currently at Work VS wheels polished w/ painterd gold centers, fixed curb damage, like new, for $1000.00 Cash.

They were asking for $800.00 as is, but with work to fixem, i got it at that price. Imma see on friday, if I can haggle some more for $900.00. These wheels have been there for a pretty long time, so Im thinking their not really popular w/ the setup, so I might be able to milk it some more.

I might even still buy these BBS style wheels 18x8 for $500.00 listed on craigslist. They come with tires, and if the tread is good, imma haggle for $300.00 and use the tires...LOL

I have 6 18 inch tires from Mexicalli tires, which probably dont match in brand, but do in size, I can always slap those on the BBS Style wheels. Swap em on teh galant or swtich from my soon to own supra mkviii.

Here are the BBS style pics:

225 40 18

Sillyasianz

Woohoo. Picking them up friday. My total price is 950.00. that's for the wheels, polished, and painted gold like the new generation work vs-xx wheels. mesh and center cap will be gold. rivots will be polished, but I plan to have them coated black.

For tires I got a deal of 4 Falken ZIEX ZE-512 225/40ZR18, new, for $400.00 balanced and installed on the car.

I went to the local shop to have the rear fenders rolled, but due to excess bondo from the molded kit, they can't do anything until the wheels are on and maybe until my tein ss are on. They said I might not have any issues if I don't slam it anymore...

I wanted to floss them at MOD day. but looks like I won't be going in my car...

Grrrr....

Post pics tommorow night!

RB motoring does it. I hope it fits right. I want them on my galant and if it doesnt, will sit in the garage until I get my supra.

I picked up the BBS Style knockoffs w/ tires.. THE TREAD IS PRACTICALLY NEW!!! Federal Brand (cheap chinese) 225/40zr18
Speedy Wheels (MASHIE) 18x8 +40

My Work VS (1st Gen) will be done tomorrow. That cost me $950.00 painted gold center (like the newer WORK VS) with polished lip.

Going to Discount Tire Center in El Monte on saturday
(run by VIC, owner of wheeloptions.com)
To get my Falken Ziex 512 225/40zr18 and have my rear fenders cut to fit the wheels for $536.00

But tomorrow im going to Signal Hill, near Long Beach, Dthreedesigns company to pick up the CSK kit installed for $335.00. Its NOT the full chassis stiffening kit thats listed for $399.99, since we dont need/cant use the rear strut bar.

Thats alot of money. I may end up selling the SPEEDY WHEELS MASHIE 18x8 +40 cause I have many other plans to get the car looking good again.

Any local members reading this, i might sell em at $500.00 even. I wont be putting them on at all. I was planning to use em on the supra when I get it in the fall, but who knows, i may need the money....

Post the pics of the wheels when their on!!!!
