View Full Version : air pressure just dont seem right??????

i just got my new rims and tires, put em on and then went to get the right pressure in em the backs look good but the front just dont seem right to me. they look underinflated.. i got 18x 7.5 wrapped in nankang 215/35hr 18
please help i have an 8g 4g64. all help will be muchly appreciated

Well how much pressure is in the tires? And what pressure are the tires rated for?

well first off your tire size is off you should have 225/ 40 and the reason it looks deflated is because most of the weight in the car is in the front(engine)so jus make sure u look at the printing on the tire for the psi ,as long as its right you koo but try to get the right tires u dont have a miata

the rating on the tire is 44 psi max

my 8g is also dropped 2"front and 1.75" rear will 40 series still fit without rubbing?? cuz as it is the 35's are lookin kinda close

well ya gap aint gone look like its droped with the tires like that. wuts the offest of your wheels.

your cars psi is in the drivers side dorrway u should have between 30-40 psi in the tires

They probably look deflated because the tires are undersized.

As said they should be 225/40-18s. Where'd you get those wheels/tires from?

40 series i dont think will fit in the well without rolling the lip and i dont wanna do that

They'll fit, many members here have 225/40-18s and a drop. Some even have 225/35-20s with a drop. If Victoria Tire told you that 225/40-18s can't fit without a drop they are wrong, and they should replace your tires with the proper size.
