Cleared corners and still need help?

i just recently cleared the corners on mine 02 ES V6 and i was wondering what kind of bulbs i should use for my turn signal? should i go with white or a blue bulb. because the orange bulb looks bad. what wattage should i use for new bulbs? remember this is a 8th gen. Thx!

thx guys i went with a blue bulb that puts out a nice white/blue light. i'll show night pix later tonite thx again. i went to my Murray's discount auto parts store to pick up the bulbs. once again thx. peace

I just bgot some blue bulbs from walmart fore 4.99, however if i get in trouble with police for having a blue turn signal i will get the silverstars. 9.99 at advanced auto. They look blue but emit orange light.

I got the same ones.....They are actually legal....I think if they are pure white....that's when I think they are illegal.... but those are bluish white.... but if u do get in trouble....keep ur amber ones on u and switch em out in front of the police

x2. i really like mine. no orange color in the day to them cause of the chrome colored coating, and when the lights are on, they glow orange.

yeah dude, after i cleared mine, i got silverstar (Which is a great brand), but they defeat the purpose because they still blink orange. go with the blue bulbs

i use phillips 1157 NA. when i cleared my corners i thought i bought sylvania 1157's until i had to turn my lights on and noticed that i got 1156's. but for now im using phllips 1157na its chrom in the day so it looks clear. but at night when the parking lights are on its orange. imma try the blue ones too, but im in the suburbs so i dunt even know if i want to get hassled by po-po like that

I like blue more than white or amber, but the blue turn signals will absorb the cops to it. But I like to take off the sockets and keep it outside if I have to use anything other than blue like the 2nd pic.

Stick with amber bulbs to avoid becoming cop bait. Most areas don't allow non-standard colors for traffic warning lights (brake, turn indicators). Just find some multi LED 1157's or a 'chromed' bulb that glows amber.

Don't try using 1156's though. They look the same as the 1157's and it's an easy mistake. Took me like 20 minutes before I figured out why my blinkers weren't working right. lol :oops:

You could go with silverstars. It's the safe way.

Or if you want to be nutts...
There is a new-"ish" type of L.E.D.
It's called like.. switchback or something.
It stays one color when you don't use it... and once you signal, it flashes amber.

white LED parking, amber LED signal (white turns off when amber turns on)... the white LED parking lights comes closer than any regular bulb to matching my 6000K HID low's, 6000K HID hi's, and 6000K HID projector fogs. actually i have no regular bulbs on the outside of my car anymore... all HID or LED. this pic shows the headlights and fogs on w/ the corners:
