Diamante question.... lip fitment?

Whatup fellas,

I own a 6th gen G, and last year purchased an 00' Diamante. I was never very active on this forum, cuz we all know how poppin the 6g forums are for anyone who doesnt have a vr-4... lol, but I read the 8g forums all the rime to see what yall have been up to and I recently have seen a lot of people puttin front bumper lips on their G's and I really like the way it looks.

My Diamante is beige/gold in color, and I recently put black rims on it... I think a lip would look really nice on the front end and would also go nice with the black rims. Do yall have any suggestions for what make/model lip I should look for to best fit my Diamante. I dont know if they make universal ones... I frankly dont know anything at all about lips, so I wanted to ask the question here. Thanks in advance fellas (and gyals) - A

lol.... Im a member over there, and Im actually pretty active on that forum. I know for sure though that no one there has done anything with a front lip.

I just wanted to ask you G guys cuz I've seen a good number of you have already done this. My main question is what make/model car should I buy a lip for to get the closest match to a Diamante or a G... the front dimensions on both are quite similar.

You want to measure the width and depth you'd need for a lip to know what kind of car from which you can most easily use.

I havent seen too many 6g or 7g guys adding lips their cars, so I figured this was the most appropriate place to put the thread. If its 'OFF TOPIC'.... my bad, but this is like the difference between bananas and plantain so even if its a slight stretch gimme a lil break.

measurements for the lip are:
62 1/2" wide
14" deep (at the sides)

are these measurements anything like those on an 8g galant, and also based on these numbers can anyone suggest a make/model tuner car I should try n purchase a lip for. In the mean time I'll try to email the people on ebay selling these lips to see if I find any matches. thanks fellas.

(and just to clarify... Im not looking for a body kit, only a front lip. but thank u, redgalant2k1. theres only that one body kit for D's, and its uuuuugly.)

i see you're in NY. I would have suggested going to a shop and asking them to try on the different lips. But the shops in NY don't have any sort of lips of any kind in stock. they are all special order.

I would suggest that you do go ahead and order the Integra lip and test fit it on. It's not very expensive and if you don't use it, you'll always find someone to buy it. NY is full of the integras. I suggest the integra lip because it is longer on the sides than the civic lip and it's better to just trim than to extend.

Kalamidad.... should I go for a 94-97 integra lip, or an 98-01?
