car whistles

ok when i have the windows closed and am going around 40 or over it whistles in teh car. ocn ei open the windows it stops. any one have a clue what is doign this.

Maybe its working? Isnt that what things do when they work, whistle?

Seriously, you have a leak somwhere, check your rubber seals on the door. When you open the windows it releases the pressure and no more whistle.

Check the weatherstrip moulding that goes around the parameter of the door. See for cracks or if its loose in areas and replace accordinly. I would also check the seal where the side view mirror meet the door. I had the same problem as you on my passenger side and I had my g/f listen for the noise. It was coming from my passenger side view mirror. I removed it and did some adjustments and my problems disappeared.

check mirror and weatherstrip and couldnt find anything. it hasnt happen there last few days so i dont know. could it be the engine cuz no that i thin kof it when it does whistle it has been very hot and i had the ac on high.
