side molding

i want to paint the side molding same color as the rest of the car but i need to know if anyone knows what its made of and what kind of paint i should use,heres a pic just incase https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif

Side molding are made of a plastic/urethane material...its just held on by double sided tape. I would suggest to get it painted at a body shop...base coat and clear coat.

I wouldn't suggest to use over the counter spray can stuff...it won't look right.

if thats the case then i would be better off getting the whole car painted since it could use it,cant see in the pics but theres places that need to be painted but sadly i dont have the money :cry:

Same as anything that needs to get painted. Sand it down and get a good coat of primer..especially one that prevents rust since the arm is metal. You could paint it with over the counter spray..but I would use High heat spray paint, something with ceramic. The spray paint for engines should work fine.
