In my 96 Galant LS' user manual, it says "The proper tire pressure for your car is listed on a label attached near the latch on the driver's door".

I am sure I could not miss it if it is really there.

So, could anyone just tell me where to find that label or the correct tire pressure?

the pressure is actually on the door. if its not there, then odds are yoru car has been damaged or repainted.

but just so you know,
its 32 front and 29 rear.

that goes for ANY 7g NO MATTER WHAT size wheel or tire you run.

i have 225/40/18's
i run 32 front and 29 rear.

But I find in the following address http://www.drivegreen.com/PressureValue/Mi...itsubishi.shtml ('http://www.drivegreen.com/PressureValue/Mitsubishi.shtml') says the pressure is 30 psi for Front and 26 psi for Rear...

It makes me a little confused.

i'd trust my door before i trusted anyone else
less tire pressure = poor handling=more rolling resistance= less gas mileage= poor tire wear= bad news.

proper tire pressure... i need not explain,

too much tire pressure= poor traction= uneven tire wear= rough ride= buy new tires

I change my tir pressure to 32 Front and 29 rear.

Just come to my mind, when do next time tire rotation, I should ask them to change the tir pressure too. https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif

I don't think they are going to do this unless you ask them to.

i think you should find a new shop if thats the case. i haven't been to a shop that doesn't check and adjust the tire pressure when u rotoate the tires.

think about it. if you have 32 up front and 29 and the rear. if you rotate the tires, the front tires might end up in the rear and the rear tires might end up i nthe front. if they don't adjust the tire pressure, you'll end up with 32 in the rear and 29 in the front. having different tire pressures between front and back is a pretty common thing so if a shop isn't adjusting the tire pressure, something is wrong.

that seems to be the case with my car as 1 tire in the front is 32 and the other on the front is 29 and one in the rear is 32 and one is 29

Not to sound stupid here.. But correct me if im wrong. Us 7G owners with stock steelies cant rotate our tires because of the different tire size right??? On my 7G i have like P/185/70/R14 on the front and on the rear its P/185/65 or 60/R14........

The only Mitsubishi that came stock with staggered tires was the Starion.

Every Galant should have matched tire sizes front and rear regardless of year. If you have different size tires get that fixed asap.
