View Full Version : What to do with 02 Grill?
What are people doing to modify their 2002 grilles? I always liked the 99-01 grill, plus plenty of options to modify it, but the 02 grill has that big lump from the bumper in the middle. Has anyone modified one of these? Pics? All I can think of is to remove the two "halves" of the grill and just have headlights and holes.

You can buy chrome grill instead of those black plastic.
you happen to know who sells these? The plastic just looks bad. Don't know if I would go chrome, but maybe a gunmetal or something.
edit: i found some on Google, surprise.
Any suggestions though, hit me.

They're usually on ebay, but I haven't seen them for a while.
I've also seen someone put mash in it kind of like on the older style.
Mesh?
Yeah I think it would look good if the fins were cut out and some black mesh was put in there.

Go with this option I think. Have not seen too many with that.

i got the fogs at a local pepboys and they are halos that change colors but the only f'd up part was i went thru 2 pairs and the dam things kept fogging up and lil by lil the chrome inside started changin to lik a black but any 4" fog will fit, u might hav to add screws to the housing that holds the fog so it can holdstr8....as for the grille all u can do is cut out the fins in the two side grilles and add mesh but i think that looks ricey but hey everyone has different opinons, that y i went wit mesh in the bak of the openings if u look closly....if u try to cut that middle piece of the bumper off u will hit a piece of metal that is connected to the frame, which is located rite bhind that middle piece of the bumper, which can b cut off

as cutting out the middle piece and adding a jdm grille i dnt kno ho that would look, never seen it dun on that bumoer b4, it would be too off i think, if it was an 99-01 it would be alot better
Yeah alex those fogs look real nice!
Im liking that silver galant with the mesh behind the grill pieces. Mesh in front doesnt look too good to me. And yeah, I will probably just leave the fins in there.
