Can anyone tell me if 19's will fit. And if so what tire size and the good and bad things about having 19's

it's possible but there are some mods you need to do. what are the specifics of those mods? i don;t know. but i read of a galant driven by a female on 19's with coilovers. have you done a search yet?

19's will fit as long as you stick to a 225/35 tire and stay as close to the stock 46mm offset as possible. You'll probably get away with a 42mm offset, but you may have to roll your fenders in the rear if you lower the car.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Hyperactive Galant GTZ)</div><div class='quotemain'>But what do you guys mean when you say to "roll" the fenders??</div>

if you feel on the fender, you can feel that it has like an inside lip to it. pretty much rolling the fenders is bending that lil lip inward so that you won't rub on it.

o yea, don't forget to look @ the width of the wheels. as wheel diameters go up, most likely the width would too. and if the wheels are too wide, you might rub on some of the suspension and brake components there or even worse, they might not go on @ all

225/35zr19 close to +45 as possible as stated b4... wheel width should be no more than 8"...8.5" will fit but you will have to roll ur rear fenders if dropped.

i agree with that, anything wider than a 8.5" rim ur gonna have to roll the fenders.. when i had my old rim, my boy use a diamond cut saw to make small cuts in the lips to bend each piece back, so when i ever traded in the car i could just pull it back.. THen he sprayed i think its called liquid rubber cement to keep it from rusting..it worked really well, bad i totalled the car 5 days later.. https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif

Actually, 225's on 8" wide wheels with a +45mm offset will make it flush already. Did some calculations and that comes out to 1" further out than your stock 6" ones. 7.5" wide wheels fit better under the fender but that width is not really perfect for 225 tires but might be able to get away with it; and I don't think 215 tires are wide enough for my liking.

i have 19's and i didn't roll my fenders and i drop my car about 1.5 inches i have a 42 offset 8" width with 225/35 tires

many wheel companies are starting to make the bigger rims likes 18 and 19's in narrower sizes just for the import culture. stay tuned to see what companies will come up with

yes, they are starting to make lots of different 19x7.5" wheels but the tire manufacturers are way behind in making 225/35/19 tires. There are only limited models to choose from; I hope they do more in the new future.

$1800 in chrome?!?!? I don't think so... maybe silver, or some knockoff's, but not chrome Racing Harts. I paid about $2300 (silver) with tires this past summer for them.

It's possible, name does have alot to do with it. A year and a half ago when I bought my 18" Giovanna Corsicas, they were selling for $2,700 with tires. I bought them at the time for $1,800.00 with tires, now you can get em for $1,500.00. It all depends on who and HOW you deal with the tire shops. I know for a fact that Rider is getting the 19" Chrome Sterling Wheels (Bling,Bling) on his G-ride and he's only paying $1,800.00 for them.

They're Intrax Super Sport springs... we carry them. We also carry the regular sports if you don't want to go as low. I'm thinking about GC coilovers now though https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif [email protected]
